My Foundation Learning Programme
 

For some years MFA has used the Myeloma UK’s Myeloma Nurse Learning Program as the basis for its own Myeloma Education for Health Professionals Program (MEHP).


Most major treatment centres have been sent a hard copy of the Program’s Self Learning Manual and MFA’s myeloma support nurses have visited many centres to conduct ‘in-service’ programs. These have been mounted with resident oncology and haematology nurses to assist their understanding of the program..

This well developed Self Learning Program is now available online. If you are a nurse with an interest in specializing in myeloma, we recommend you register for this free-of-charge course by following the prompts belowThe course has been endorsed by APEC No. 08121923 as authorized by Royal College of Nursing Australia, according to approved criteria.  Completion attracts 170 RCNA Continuing Education (CNE) points as part of RCNA's Life Learning Program (3LP).  MFA’s myeloma support nurses continue to be available to deliver myeloma related in-service or take part in educational events for health professionals.
